Our inspiration for Havdypp came from our love to jump into the ocean. The colder the better. Havdypp means ocean dip. These daily ocean dips connected us to nature and made us mindful of what we put on our bodies. Always on the go after our swims, we wanted a soap that was easy to carry and use. This sparked our interest in soap bars. While hand soaps were easy to find, body soaps made with good ingredients were not. Many were filled with silicones and chemicals and did not fulfill our wishes for the perfect products.  

We therefore decided to create soap with a focus on a higher concentration of better ingredients like butters and oils, which are nurturing for our skin. Ocean dipping in the Faroe Islands also inspired us to use local elements in our soaps, such as seaweed & the Faroese National Flower when looking around at the beautiful nature. 

Our passion for nature, Havdypp, and mental health has built our Havdypp Community where we host retreats and welcome people from all over the world to share unforgettable experiences.
